Jose Skrobot brings nearly 30 years of expertise in corporate finance and accounting, having worked with some of the world’s largest global electronic manufacturers. He has held senior roles in both private and publicly owned multinational corporations, including Motorola, Continental Automotive, and Robertshaw. His extensive industry experience spans communications, automotive, appliances, and third-party logistics (3PL) services. Throughout his career, Jose has been a key leader in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) teams, successfully transitioning companies across various ownership structures—public-to-public, public-to-private, and private-to-private. His roles at the corporate, business unit, and manufacturing levels have equipped him with a well-rounded perspective on the operations of large, complex organizations.
In his most recent endeavor, Jose collaborated with Salad and Go in the restaurant industry, where he consulted on upgrading and replacing financial systems, enhancing accounting and reporting procedures, and staffing to support rapid business growth. His vast experience enables him to provide valuable insights into optimizing business operations. Jose specializes in process improvement, financial systems implementation, advanced reporting and analysis, and driving product margin growth.
Beyond his professional career, Jose is actively involved in his community. He serves as a commissioner on the Schaumburg Sister Cities Commission, a team appointed by the mayor of Schaumburg, Illinois, to foster cultural exchange programs with communities in Germany and Japan. This initiative provides senior leaders and children with unique opportunities to engage in international cultural exchanges, enriching their perspectives and experiences.
Jose’s passion for soccer has been a defining aspect of his life.
For over 20 years, he served as a Director of Coaching, holding a National C license. In this role, he managed coaching curricula, created dynamic learning environments, and led a team of coaches while engaging with over 200 families annually. This experience allowed him to make a lasting impact on young athletes and their families, blending leadership with his love for the sport.
Jose earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University. Based in the Chicago area, he has spent most of his life in the region, with the exception of a memorable year living in Ireland.
